Akilah Marianna Webster

Akilah Marianna Webster, the daughter of Steven Glasco Webster, Sr., and the late Camilla McNeil Webster, was born on November 4, 1987. She entered into her rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Mitchell-Hollingworth in Florence, Alabama.

Akilah accepted Christ at an early age. She loved to go to church with her granny, Joyce, every Sunday. She always had a smile on her beautiful face and said silly things all the time. She loved her Alabama shirts and caps!!! We loved her, but God loved her more!!!

Those who preceded her in death were her mother, Camilla McNeil Webster; brother, Steven Glasco Webster, Jr.; grandparents, Sam and Odessa McNeil as well as John Glasco Webster, Sr., and Joyce Ann Webster; bonus mom, Carol L. Webster; uncles, Billy Ray Webster and Samuel Whitmore; aunt, Sylvia Whitmore; and cousin, Cedric Webster.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her father, Steven Glasco Webster, Sr.; sisters, Tamara Denise Webster and Brittany Vinson; brothers, Renardous Vinson and Jameriz Vinson; five aunts, Shirley Ann Webster, Johnnie Mae Webster, Vernon Eva Webster, Marie Whitmore, and Lenora Scruggs; uncles, Carlos Warne Webster, Calvin Whitmore, and Lorenzo Whitmore; bonus mom, Cynthia Jackson Webster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Special thanks to “Bo’s” classmates, Greg Simmons and Ricky Simmons, for always being here for him when he needed a friend the most! Additional thanks to the beautiful, sweet staff at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. Thank you all so very much for taking such special care of our dear sweet Akilah for over 10 years! Although she was a handful some days, y’all loved and cared for her just the same! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
