Amanda Montgomery Graham was born on February 22, 1936, in Cherokee, AL, to the late Lou Ella Savage and the late Bubba Flie.
She departed this life on December 18, 2024, at NAMC in Florence, AL. Amanda attended Cherokee High School in Cherokee, AL, and upon relocation, attended Trenholm High School in Tuscumbia, AL.
She was a lifelong faithful member of Lesley Temple C. M. E. in Tuscumbia, AL, where she served on the stewardess board and sang in the choir. Amanda was the second oldest of three siblings who preceded her in death, Laura Hawkins, Betty Gilbert, and Mary Nell Savage.
She was the proud mother of five beautiful children including one, Angelo Montgomery, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her one daughter, Gloria (Claude) Grant of Muscle Shoals, AL; three sons, Jeffrey (Clarissa) Richardson of Muscle Shoals, AL, Ronald
Montgomery of Sheffield, AL, and Victor Montgomery of Tuscumbia, AL; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Amanda was fun-loving and had a magnetic personality. Upon ever departure, it was never goodbye but her farewell to you would be “peace, love, who gotcha baby.”
