James Moore, officiatingInterment in Springhill Cemetery, Florence, AlabamaThe body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.Visitation with the family will be held Thursday from 6-8:00pm.Mrs. Blanchie Barnett Perkins, daughter of the late Mary and Felix Barnett, was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Lauderdale County and grew up in Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. She led an exemplary life reflecting her Christian faith. She served on the usher board for many years and later was appointed to serve on the Mother's Board.The love of her family was foremost in her life. Mrs. Perkins leaves to reflect upon her life a husband, William M. Perkins, Sheffield, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Perkins Harrison, Florence, Ala.; three sons, Mr. Lamus Perkins, Tuscumbia, Ala., Mr. Sammie Perkins, Sheffield, Ala., and Mr. Londa (Mildred) Perkins, Florence, Ala.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Ms. Ruby Barnett, Florence, Ala.; two brothers-in-law, Mr. James Perkins and Mr. Willie B. Perkins, Florence, Ala.; six sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hattie M.
