Estes Thompson, officatingInterment in Rutland Chapel Cemetery, Lane Spring, AlThe body will be placed in the church at 11:00am.Calvin Earl Goodloe was born February 3, 1949 to Johnny Calvin Goodloe (J.C.) and Lula Mae Goodloe.He professed his faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and united with Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Cherokee, Alabama.Calvin spoke his mind without reservation and no return for discussion with a final "Good Day." He loved his family with all his mind, heart and soul. He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Calvin Goodloe, sister Johnnie Goodloe Lott, brother Vester Lee Goodloe, (J.C.), paternal grandparents King Other Goodloe and Johnny Mae Thompson Goodloe, and maternal grandparents Arthur Sullivan and Mollie R Sullivan.Calvin a soldier of life, love and happiness leaves behind to cherish his memories, three loving children: Twana Sherrelle Goodloe-Vintes (Orlando) of Atlanta, Georgia, Calvin Andre Goodloe and Duquesne Jacqua Goodloe, both of Cherokee, Alabama; grandchildren: Briana Nicole Goodloe, Sierra LaShae Goodloe, Avery Khalil Goodloe, Zainam Alexandria Goodloe-Vintes, and Deja Ariana Goodloe-Vintes; and great-grandchild: Chad E. Gardiner III; mother: Lula Mae Goodloe of Cherokee, Alabama; five sisters: Phyllis Goodloe Meade (Robert Sr.) of Sheffield, Alabama, Roselyn Johnson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Molly Goodloe Williams (Larry) of Atlanta, Georgia, Emma Goodloe Haley (Charles) of Cherokee, Alabama, and Pamela Goodloe of Riverdale, Georgia, and one brother: Rodney Goodloe of Barton, Alabama; four aunts: Lois Hodges (Warren), Flora Southern, Julia McKay (Martin - a special friend and uncle) and Annie Pearl Sullivan; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
