Mrs. Charles Etta Bailey Cooper, 66, of Florence, was born April 29, 1943, to Mrs. Arwilder Farris Vann and the late Robert Vann, in Florence, Ala. She departed this earthly life Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.She was a faithful member of Smithsonia Church of Christ, where she remained until her health failed.She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories her mother, Arwilder Vann, Florence; children, Arthur Bailey, Altha O. Caperton (Charlie), Oliver Bailey (Janice), and Eric Bailey, all of Florence, Ala.; stepdaughter, Monique Cooper; sister, Faye Poole, and brother, Robert Vann, both of Florence, Ala.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; devoted friends, Emma Edwards, Warren Ricks, Bill Bailey, Julia Turner; and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence.
