Chris was born February 1,1964, to the late Wylie Joe Love and Mable Beatrice Love (Macklin) in Florence, AL.
Chris departed his life on Saturday May 25, 2024, with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Chris attended Waterloo High School and was a truck driver for many years then eventually began his own trucking business “Love’s Transportation.” He was the youngest of 12 brothers and sisters. Chris was the life of a party and never met a stranger. He was a friend, father, uncle and confidant to all he met. He loved spending time with his grandson, going to family gatherings, watching westerns, singing, dancing, playing dominoes and spades. His personality lit up a room, where he always thought he could be a comedian the way he told jokes and left his signature mark with his many hugs and kisses.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, father, Wylie Joe Love, mother, Mable Beatrice Love (Macklin); siblings: Geraldine Armstrong(sister), Carrie Mae King(sister), Raymond Love(brother), Juanita Robert(sister) and Elvin Love(brother).
Chris leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted wife, Wanda Love (Winborn) of Florence, AL, of 37 years, two children, Christiana (Houston, TX) and Tetiana Love (Florence, AL) and grandson, Demani Ollison (Houston, TX) He is also survived by his siblings; Barbara Anderson of Florence, AL, Landra Myers of Delray, FL, Willie Joe Love(Jackie) of Lufkin, TX, Cynthia Love(Zelda) of Lafayette, LA, Michael Love(Debra) of Lake Charles, LA and Carrine Thompson(Andy) of Florence, AL,. He also leaves to cherish many nieces, nephews, greats and an abundant amount of friends that also had become as close as family.
