Donald Ray Patterson

Donald Ray Patterson was born on August 19, 1960, to the late Matthew Green and Gertrude Patterson. He departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2024.

At an early age, Donald gave his life to Christ and united with Rock P.B. Church in Florence, AL. He graduated from Bradshaw High School, Class of 1979. After high school, he began his culinary career at Dale's Restaurant, where he became a grill master. He later became the owner of Big Mike's Steak and Fish.

Donald was united in Holy Matrimony to Trella Townsley Patterson, and to this union, two children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Trella Townsley Patterson and his brother, Sampson Patterson.

He is survived by his children: Dawneshia Patterson, Ladonna Doxie, Latiffany Stevenson, Malia Patterson, and Makinley Patterson; his siblings: Judy Patterson, Kathy Patterson Hooks, Chris Patterson (Teresa), Matthew Green Jr. (Pamela), Dexter Green, Vickie Deloney (James), Ricky Green (Mildred), and Patricia King; his grandchild, Donovon Bryant; children he loved as his own, Terrance Doxie and LaShonda Stevenson; his aunt, Mae Cole (Aunt Mae); his special friend, Wayne Hooks; and a host of other relatives and friends.
