He leaves to cherish his memories one loving daughter Aurbie Armstead, Florence, AL; two sons: Derry Armstead and Donnie Armstead, Florence, AL; one brother: Fred Armstead (Stephanie), Birmingham, AL; three sisters: Margaret Thompson, Bessie Armstead, and Ella Hillman, all of Florence, AL; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
