Franklin Brown Obituary

Franklin D. Brown embarked on his journey of life on February 27, 1950 in Florence, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Daisy Brown. He was one of twelve children. Seven preceded him in death: six brothers Eddie Lee, Robert James, and Edward Louis Brown, Edward Key, William and Andrew Bullitt all of Florence, Alabama and one sister Ruth Noel of Syracuse, New York. Also, preceding him in death are brothers-in-law Percy Harris, Cleotis Horrison, Alex Cole, Nathaniel Ingram and sister-in-law Patricia Barnett.

He confessed his life to Christ and became a member of Bethel Lauderdale Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated at West End High School and retired from General
Motors in Springhill, Tennessee.

At a young age, Frank, as everyone knew him by, developed a fondness for Kangol hats. He had every color you could imagine. You would not find him out in public without his
Kangol hat, his Stacy Adams, and a smile that lit up the room.

Frank displayed a deep passion for his family. A trait that defined his life’s purpose. He dedicated many years to his career, his personal passions, and his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, always offering a listening ear, a word of advice whether you wanted to hear it or not, and a helping hand.

Frank made his transition peacefully from his earthly home to his heavenly home on October 29, 2024. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy of love, strength, and faith will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him.

Frank’s unwavering devotion to his family and friends remain a testament to a life well-lived. We find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with those who went before him, and walking with the Lord. His memory will forever be a source of inspiration etched in the hearts of those he left behind.
