James Curtis Hamilton was born to the Union of Clyde and Vinnie Mae Hamilton on April 29, 1946, in Russellville, Alabama. James departed this life on January 1, 2025.
James and Sandra Phillips were united in marriage and to this union two sons were born. He was a loving and caring family man.
James leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sandra (Trish), three sons James Hamilton (Carolyn) of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Demond Hamilton of Russellville, Alabama, Freddrick Hamilton of Ypsilanti, Michigan, one brother Gary (Beverly) and one sister Sharon (Archie) three grandchildren, Kayla Hamilton, Kamarin Hamilton, Kaleb Hamilton along with one great grandchild Braylen along with a special cousin Ella along with a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Vinnie Mae Hamilton along with four brothers Laddie, Emmett, Glen, Mitchell Hamilton and one sister Dorthy Hamilton.
James’s hobbies included cutting grass, watching football, especially those Michigan teams. He was an admirer of sports cars and loved traveling with his wife. He will be truly missed by everyone who he encountered during his lifetime.
