John Poole

John Benny Poole was born January 4, 1942in Lauderdale County. He was blessed to Melvin and Carrie Poole as his parents. He peacefully departed this life on May 15, 2024at the age of 82.

Benny was in the U. S. Army Vietnam War.

Later, he was employed at Colbert Steam Plant where he retired at age 52.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Melvin and Mrs. Carrie Poole, son, Mr. Ramona Poole, daughter, Ms. Stephanie Poole Irons, a brother, Mr. Charles Woods and sister, Mrs. Ella Mae Alexander.

Benny leaves to cherish his memories to a daughter, Ms. Freda Koger Campbell, two sons, Mr. Tracy Koger and Mr. Chauncey Poole, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
