Juanita Bulls Ingram was born November 2, 1940, in Florence, Alabama, to the late Mr. John T. Bulls, Sr. and John Etta Woods Bulls. She was one of five children.
Juanita accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of the Church of Greater Saint Paul AME and later the Westside Church of Christ in Florence, Alabama.
Juanita grew up in Florence, Alabama. She attended the public school at Burrell Slater School in the Lauderdale County School System.
Throughout her life, Juanita exhibited a great passion for caring for and loving people. She worked several years at the Glenwood Nursing Home in Florence, Alabama. In addition to her employment, she loved gardening, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Juanita married Emerson Ingram, Sr., in 1966. God blessed this union with six wonderful children. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren made her
complete. Juanita’s love for them extended well beyond her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She instilled in them unconditional, selfless, and sacrificial love
for God and others.
Juanita Bulls Ingram peacefully transitioned on the morning of October 2, 2025.
Preceding Juanita in death were her parents, Mr. John T. Bulls, Sr. and John Etta Woods Bulls; siblings, Willie Hewitt, Ronnie Leon Bulls, John T. Bulls, Jr., and Alvin Bulls; husband, Emerson Ingram, Sr.; and children, Charles Eugene Ingram, Sr., and Byron Ingram.
Juanita leaves to cherish her unwavering love and memories, her daughters, Vivian Bulls, Fay Ingram, Stacy Gibson (Alex); son, Emerson Ingram, Jr; and a host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
