Mrs. Juila Elizabeth Bailey Turner was the first-born girl of eleven siblings. She born, July 06, 1931, in Killen, Alabama to Tommie and Emma Sneed Bailey. She went home to be
with God on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Julia was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. William (Pepper) Turner for 36 years until his death. After traveling around the world with her husband who was a World War 1Veteran. They made Waukegan, IL their home. Julia moved back to Florence and joined Greater Saint Paul AME Church where her Aunt Bitsy resided, and she remained a member until her health started to decline. Her niece had to place her in Glenwood facility.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories: a niece, Mrs. Altha Caperton (Charlie), an adopted daughter,
Natasha Turner of Orlanda, FL , an adopted son, Ronald Turner, Florence, AL, brothers, Freddie Bailey (Lynn) of Greenhill, AL, Tommie Bailey, Jr. of Waukegan, IL, Earl Allen of Florence, AL, sisters, Evelyn and Ruby Bailey both of Waukegan, IL, Genva Todd of Huntsville, AL and Shirley Capterton (Howard), one sister-in-law, Barabara Bailey who always checked on her from Michan and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
