Kenneth Ray Horton, “Kenny Ray” was born June 10, 1963, to Ollie B. Jones and Ollie Sanders in Colbert County Alabama. Following the death of his biological mother and maternal grandparents, he was raised in Leighton Alabama by George and Katie Horton who were known to all as his parents, “Mama and Daddy.”

Following that, he went to work in Security for the Veteran’s Hospital where he retired on June 26, 2024. He departed this life on July 26, 2024 in Muscle Shoals, Al with his family at his side.
An avid lover of R&B music and Alabama Roll Tide football fan, he could often be found attending A-day Games and watching each season with detail into the players, coaches, and staff.
