Kiara Shaquay Carter

Ms. Kiara Shaquay Carter was born March 27, 1989 to Nicole Malone and Derrick Carter in Sheffield, Alabama. 

She passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 12:35 AM at Helen Keller Hospital.

Kiara graduated from Sheffield High School in 2007 and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She had a passion for traveling and loved going to the beach. Kiara was employed at North American Lighting.

She was devoted to her family and her beloved fur baby, Bella.

Kiara leaves behind cherished memories with her mother, Nicole Malone; her father, Derrick Carter (and Melissa); her significant other, Rydreal Howard; her siblings, LaKyria Carter, Nycole Jones, Alicia Carter, and Liambria West; her aunt, Arethia Malone; and her grandparents, Catherine Malone, Alex Smith, and Laura Abernathy. She is also survived by her nephew, Carson Bonds; her niece, Maziah Jones; her goddaughters, RhaNiyah George and Rhylee Cunningham; her godson, Braylon Long; special friends, Kae Saenz, Rachel Burdett, Renard Farris, and Aaliyah Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
