Mandy Sue was born to Stella Mae and Fines Bates March 2, 1946.
She confessed Christ at an early age at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Leighton, Alabama. Mandy Sue was a faithful member of Galilee Mass Choir. Mandy loved spending time with family and friends.
As a family, we all look up to her for direction and guidance. She would always know what to say, do, and how to get things done. She made sure things was right and in order and everyone gathered at her house. Most evenings you could always find Mandy Sue and Richard Lee on the porch and stop to enjoy great conversation and good eating.
Mandy Sue worked twenty-three years at H.D. Lee Company and retired from there.
Mandy Sue is preceded in death by her parents Stella Mae and Fines Bates, brothers: Johnny Connie, Charles and Leon Bates; Sisters: Joyce Ann Stanley, Edna Earl Madden, and Annie Gary Belue.
