Funeral service for Mrs. Patterson will be 1:00pm ~ Friday ~ Rock Primtivie Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama, Elder Dr. Billie Brewton, officiating.Burial in Rock Church Cemetery,Florence, AL.Visitation will be Thursday 6-7:00pm ~ Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, AL.The body wil be placed in the church at 12:00 Noon.Mrs. Mollie Patterson, 70, of Florence, was born Jan. 16, 1938, to the late McKinley Patterson and Alma Smith. She departed this life Feb. 10, 2008, at 1:55 a.m. at ECM Hospital.Mollie became a member of Rock P.B. Church at an early age and remained an active member of the Christian Rose Bush, Farmer Hope and Sisters Aide societies.She was a faithful and dedicated worker for 37 years of service at ECM Hospital.Survivors include her children, Arleace Patterson, Patricia Watts, Micheal Patterson, all of Florence, Ala., Terry Patterson (Gladys), Athens, Ala., Melissa Watkins (Eugene), Sabrina McElroy (Alex), Shannon Patterson, Yolanda Johnson (Derrick), all of Florence; sisters and brother, Mae Cole, Gertrude Patterson, both of Florence, Lillie Bowling, Flint, Mich., Claudel Weakley (Cassandra), Florence; sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Patterson, Florence, Ala.; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
