Rev. Frederick Robinson Obituary

Fred Robinson, a devoted family man, educator, pastor, Army Veteran, and lifelong lover of learning, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2026, at the age of 69.

Fred was born in Flint, Michigan, and had grown to be known for his strong mind, strong will, and unwavering dedication to the people and passions that shaped his life. As a United States Army Veteran, he carried that sense of discipline, perseverance, and commitment l throughout his life.

Fred was also a faithful servant of God and served as pastor of Bright and Morning Star M. B. C. where he dedicated himself to teaching and sharing the Word of God with wisdom and compassion.

Fred had a deep appreciation for family history and heritage. He could spend hours sharing stories, facts, and memories, always eager to learn and teach others about where they came from and the importance of remembering those who came before them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnestine and Willie Robinson; and beloved wife, Linda. Linda passed away on their 41st anniversary on October 29, 2024.

Fred is survived by his children, Brandon Martin and Sylvia Robinson; two brothers, Lester (Dora) Robinson and Dwight (Brenda) Robinson; one sister, Renee (Gregory) McKay; six grandchildren, Baryiah, Malique, Brandon, Jamya, Aniyah, and Josiah; three great-grandchildren, Corey, Courtneé, and Chloeé; two nieces, Brooke (Chris) Lewis and Taylor McKay; three nephews, Lester (Melissa) Robinson, Austin (Alyssa) McKay, and Noah Robinson; and countless other family members and friends
