Ruth Inez Brown was born in Florence, Alabama on January 31, 1950. She attended Burnell Slater High School.
She received her CNA license and retired from GM after over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Wilson Brewer and Rachel Brown Brewer Brookshine; sisters, Lena Mae McCroskey and Ethel Jean Brewer; brothers, Henry Wilson, Jr., and James Lewis Brewer; children, Melissa Brewer and Leslie Brown; and nephew, Argentry Brewer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her dearest husband, Larry M. Brown of Florence, AL; two loving daughters, Monica Brewer and Aisha Beckwith (Charles, favorite son-in-law), both of Bowling Green, KY; two sons, Larry Brown of Bowling Green, KY, and Demetrius Brown of Florence, AL; seven grandchildren, Tynisha Foster of Florence, AL, Ra’melle Brown of Bowling Green, KY, Monquaita Brown of Florence, AL, Abresha Brown of Florence, AL, Amir Beckwith (favorite grandson) of Bowling Green, KY, Kiera Brown of Rogersville, AL, and Alivia (“Libby”) Beckwith of Florence, AL; three nieces, Shawnda Brewer, Francine Smith, and Latisha Brewer, all of Indianapolis, IN; one nephew, Louis McCroskey, Jr.; and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
