Sarah Elizabeth (Jones) Jackson

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Jones Jackson departed her life at North Alabama Specialty Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama. She was born in Colbert County, Alabama. Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Sheffield, AL.

She was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Summerhill, three brothers William Young, Edward Young and Percy Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband William Jackson - Tuscumbia Alabama, Three sons; Curtis Young, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Raymond Jackson, Tuscumbia and Joey Jackson, Tuscumbia, Alabama; three sisters Mary Jean (McKinley) Jackson, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Annie (Willie) Morris, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Lynn Miller, Tuscumbia, Alabama; one brother,  Percy (Alice) Jones, Florence, Alabama; one aunt Lula Mae Young, Tuscumbia, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Sarah Jackson, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Barbara Ann (Jimmy) Young; Tuscumbia, Alabama; three brothers-in-law McKinley (Mary Jean) Jackson, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Robert (Genise) Jackson, Tuscumbia, Alabama; Marvin (Yolanda) Jackson, Sheffield, Alabama. Mrs. Sarah has eight grandchildren who she loved dearly: a devoted niece Tangela Summerhill; cousins Patrica Donley, and Brenda Joyce Fant. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
