Stanley Donell Jones

Mr. Stanley Donell Jones was born on September 19, 1983, to Mr. Stanley Carter and Ms. Lisa Jones. He departed this life on Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.

As a young child, Stanley attended Mt. Carmel Missionary Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama. In the final months of his life, Stanley renewed and reaffirmed his faith in Jesus Christ.

Stanley attended Deshler High School and later completed his GED at a Job Corps center in Mississippi. After earning his GED, he relocated to Florida, where he was employed for a brief period.

He was employed at McDonald's in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Stanley will be remembered as a faithful husband and a loving father.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin D. Jones; his grandparents, Mr. Joseph C. Jones, Sr., Mrs. Loletha M. Jones, Mr. John T. Petty, and Mrs. Ella Mae Petty; and his aunt, Barbara
Jones Qualls.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Bethany Jones, daughter, Zoe Jones; father, Stanley Carter (Laverne Carter) of Muscle Shoals, AL; mother, Lisa H. Jones of Tuscumbia, AL; and siblings: brothers Ronald C. Jones of Colorado Springs, CO, Rodney O. Jones (Rachel) of Russellville, AL, and Chauncey King of Muscle Shoals, AL; and sisters April Jones of Tuscumbia, AL, Amber Hill (Quentin) of Athens, AL, Christian Iwobi (Obiama) of Playa Vista, CA, and Camisha Horrison of Muscle Shoals, AL.

He is also survived by uncles Joseph C. Jones, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, James Lawrence Jones, Sr. of Atlanta, GA, Andrew C. Jones of Harker Heights, TX, Donald E. Jones of Clarksville, TN, Chauncey G. Jones, Sr. (Evelyn) of Tuscumbia, AL, and Elton Jones (Andrea) of Muscle Shoals, AL; his aunt, Angelia Jones Mitchell of Muscle Shoals, AL; father-in-law, Bobby Gillespie (Tammie Gillespie) of Muscle Shoals, AL; brother-in-law, Robbie Gillespie of Tupelo, MS; sisters-in-law, Kathy Quillen of Bear Creek, AL; Tiffany Battles of Sheffield, AL, and Brittany Gillespie of Sheffield, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
