Mr. Thomas Edward Granville was born March 14, 1951, to the late Jack Coger and Lillie Mae Granville Softley.
He departed this life June 10, 2025, at his residence in Tuscumbia, AL.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and later in life, in 2016, he joined Healing Fountain Church. He was a dedicated member and loved to go to church until health began to fail.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jack Coger and Lillie Mae Softley; grandparents: Alan and Ethel Granville; sisters: Mary Ann Newsome, Johnnie Morris, Annie Bertha Houston, Lula Mae Goodloe; and sister-in-law: Yvonne Granville.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Carolyn Granville, Hixson TN, Chiquita Smith, Muscle Shoals, AL, Derrick Shaw (Joyalyn), Tuscumbia, AL; grandkids: Tequela Granville, Crystal Lansden, Corey Lansden, Cordarius Lansden, Quuadrell Fuqua, all from Hixson, TN, TyQuesha Smith, Smith, LaDrecus Smith, Lashawn Shaw, Damarious Shaw, all from Tuscumbia, AL, Joey Wells, Jr. of Muscle Shoals, AL; 10 great-grand kids; sisters/siblings: Catherine (Rafel) Dominguez, Kansas City, MO, Debra (Zachary) Summerhill, Florence, AL, Lisa Granville, Tuscumbia, AL, Albert Granville, Clear Water, FL, David Granville, Kansas City, MO, Michael (Kim) Granville, Muscle Shoals, AL; very special nephew: Barry Coger, Sr. who was always there for him and a very special friend/caregiver, Ms. Sandra; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, great-, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
