Mrs. Willie Pearl Poke Cooper was born on July 19, 1942, in Landersville, Alabama to the late Willie Poke and Daisy Poke. She was the youngest of two children.
Willie Pearl attended Moulton High School, Moulton, Alabama, and graduated in the class of 1961. She worked for Alabama Reclamation Plant in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and retired from Wise Alloys, Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Willie Pearl was a devoted Mother and member of Open Door Church in Sheffield, Alabama. She loved her church family and was dedicated to the Church.
Willie Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Cooper; her parents; and sister, Ethel Rene Vinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Paul Stacey Cooper of Sheffield, Alabama; daughter, Myra Cooper, Sheffield, Alabama; two grandchildren, Daisy Natalia Cooper, Birmingham, Alabama, and David DeAndre Abernathy, Sheffield, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loving friends.
